A new NBC News poll reveals that over three-quarters of voters, including 54% of Democrats, express moderate to major concerns about President Joe Biden’s age and fitness, while only 48% share similar concerns about Donald Trump, his potential opponent in the 2024 general election.
Concerns about Biden’s health are particularly prominent among independents, with 81% expressing worry about his fitness for a potential second term.
Additionally, 61% of registered voters have moderate to major concerns about the legal trials awaiting Trump.

Despite these concerns, Biden still garners 17% support from voters worried about his age, while only 10% of those concerned about Trump’s trials are voting for him.
Democrat pollster Jeff Horwitt wrote, “Yes, voters are more concerned about Biden’s age than Trump’s trials.”
“But Biden is still getting 17% among voters who have major concerns about his age, while just 10% of voters who have major concerns about Trump’s trials are voting for him,” he continued.
The poll was conducted among 1,000 registered voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 points.
