European Union lawmakers are calling for sanctions on American journalist Tucker Carlson for interviewing Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The process for EU sanctions is lengthy, but there are suggestions of a potential travel ban.
Some accused Carlson of being a “traitor,” while others view him as a mouthpiece for the Kremlin.
Ukraine’s controversial American transgender sometimes-“spokesperson” Sarah Ashton-Cirillo has accused Tucker Carlson of being the “Kremlin’s favourite court eunuch” and an “enemy of humanity,” apparently placing a target on the head of Carlson.https://t.co/yT3xjIPEVC

Carlson defends his interview as an effort to inform the American public about the Ukraine war.
The proposal to sanction an American journalist has drawn criticism, including from Elon Musk.
“One may agree with Tucker or not, but he is a major American journalist and such an action would greatly offend the American public,” Musk said.
