Taylor Swift has issued a legal threat against a college student, Jack Sweeney, for tracking the movements of celebrities’ private jets, including Swift’s, on social media.
Swift’s legal team accused Sweeney of stalking and harassing behavior, emphasizing the invasion of privacy and potential threats to her safety.
“While this may be a game to you, or an avenue that you hope will earn you wealth or fame, it is a life-or-death matter for our Client,” Katie Wright Morrone said.

Sweeney defended his actions as promoting transparency and public awareness, highlighting public interest in the information he shared.
“I think it’s important to note that nowhere do I intend for harm. I actually think Swift has some good songs. I believe in transparency and public information, apparently more so than Meta,” Sweeney said.
The confrontation comes amid scrutiny over Swift’s carbon footprint due to her frequent private jet use, despite efforts to offset her travel emissions.
