Senator Marco Rubio expressed his opposition to the Senate border bill, describing it as a parody of an actual border security bill.

He is among a growing number of Senate Republicans who have rejected the bill.
The Immigration Accountability Project highlighted some of the bill’s worst provisions, and it was assembled behind closed doors by a group of establishment advocates and business donors, including Senate leaders and three appointed senators.
House Speaker Mike Johnson has already indicated that the bill would be “dead on arrival” in the House.
