Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis denied conflict allegations in the Donald Trump election interference case and argued against holding an evidentiary hearing on the matter.
She admitted a personal relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade, but he denied any conflict of interest and financial benefit for Willis.
The conflict claim was raised by a defendant seeking to overturn the 2020 election results.
The judge will decide whether further evidence is needed in a hearing scheduled for February 15.
