President Biden blamed former President Trump and his “MAGA” GOP supporters for the border crisis, citing Trump’s opposition to a national security bill.
However, statistics show a significant increase in border encounters since Biden took office.
“Why? A simple reason: Donald Trump,” Biden said. “Because Donald Trump thinks it’s bad for him politically. Therefore, he doesn’t — even though it would help the — the country, he’s not for it. He’d rather weaponize this issue than actually solve it.”

“I’m calling on Congress to pass this bill and get it to my desk immediately,” Biden added. “But if the bill fails, I want to be absolutely clear about something: The American people are going to know why it failed.”
“Every day between now and November, the American people are going to know that the only reason the border is not secure is Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican friends,” Biden said.
House Speaker Mike Johnson listed 64 actions by Biden’s administration that undermined border security, including ending border wall construction and lifting immigration restrictions.

“I’ve done all I can do. Just give me the power I asked for the very day I got in office. Give me the Border Patrol. Give me the people that judge [asylum claims]. Give me the people who can stop this and make it work rationally,” Biden said.
Biden’s low approval rating on handling border and immigration issues reflects public dissatisfaction.
“The ridiculous ‘Border’ Bill is nothing more than a highly sophisticated trap for Republicans to assume the blame on what the Radical Left Democrats have done to our Border, just in time for our most important EVER Election. Don’t fall for it!!!” Trump wrote online.
