Nevada will host its 2024 presidential primary, but former President Donald Trump will not be on the Republican ballot.

Instead, he and others will participate in GOP caucuses held on Thursday.

Candidates participating in the caucuses can earn the party’s 26 delegates, while those on the primary ballot are barred.

“Simply put, candidates who participate in an illegitimate process cannot expect to earn legitimate delegates to the Republican National Convention,” the Nevada GOP stated.

Nikki Haley is the only active candidate on the Republican ticket, but she faces potential challenges, as voters can select “none of these candidates.”

Over 95,000 Democratic ballots have been cast, with President Joe Biden facing Marianne Williamson.

Biden has 55 delegates, and any challenger would need to meet a 15% threshold to qualify for delegates.
