Target removed a “Black History Month” product from its stores and website after a viral TikTok video revealed misidentified Civil Rights leaders in a magnetic learning activity.

Target announced, “We will no longer be selling this product in stores or online.”

“We’ve also ensured the product’s publisher is aware of the errors,” their statement continued.

The video, posted by a high school teacher, led to the product’s removal and acknowledgment of errors by the publisher.

Tierra Espy said, “These need to be pulled off the shelves immediately.”

“I teach U.S. History … and I noticed some discrepancies as soon as I opened this,” she explained.

“I get it, mistakes happen, but this needs to be corrected ASAP,” added Epsy.

This incident follows previous controversies, including criticism over Pride-themed products and the sale of an ornament featuring a black Santa Claus in a wheelchair.
