Israeli intelligence has reported that 32 of the remaining 136 Israeli hostages held by Hamas are confirmed dead, with suspicions that at least 20 others may have also been killed.
The hostages were taken during a massacre on October 7. The New York Times published a report detailing the sexual atrocities committed against Israeli women by Hamas during the incident, including shocking and horrific accounts of violence and abuse.
The report included graphic details of brutal acts, such as the rape and mutilation of women, leading to severe trauma for survivors.
