Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) revealed “never-before-released internal emails” showing that the Biden White House pressured Amazon to censor books expressing views they disapproved of.

The emails, subpoenaed by the House Judiciary GOP, indicate that the White House influenced Amazon’s content decisions, including discussions about vaccine-related content.

“Amazon caved to the pressure from the Biden White House to censor speech,” Jordan said.

Jordan highlighted internal emails suggesting that Amazon initially hesitated to intervene due to concerns about visibility and public backlash.

He also pointed out that Amazon eventually agreed to a meeting with the White House and took steps to reduce the visibility of certain book titles related to vaccine misinformation.

Jordan concluded by stating that the House Judiciary GOP and Weaponization Committee are investigating the matter.
