Los Angeles Fire Department crews worked to clear an Amazon delivery truck stuck in loose soil on a hill, posing a threat to a home below.
The driver safely exited the vehicle.
Video footage showed the truck being secured to railings by first responders.
The United States Army Reserve planned to use heavy equipment to bring the vehicle to street level.
Rescuers decided to secure the truck overnight and tow it later in safer conditions.
No injuries were reported.
