Nancy Pelosi engaged in a heated exchange with anti-Israel protesters outside her home in San Francisco.
She suggested that some calling for an Israeli cease-fire may have ties to Russia and called for an FBI investigation.
The incident reflects the deep divisions within the Democratic Party over Middle East policy, particularly in the context of Israel’s conflict with Hamas.

“Go back to China where your headquarters is!” Pelosi shouted.
“For them to call for a cease-fire is Mr. Putin’s message,” she said.
“Make no mistake, this is directly connected to what [Russian President Vladimir Putin] would like to see,” she said.
Watch Nancy Pelosi claim that protestors opposing Israel's genocide in Gaza are spreading "Putin's message," and that she wants them investigated for possibly being on Russia's payroll.

“I think some of these protesters are spontaneous and organic and sincere. Some, I think, are connected to Russia,” she added. “Some financing should be investigated, and I want to ask the FBI to investigate that.”
There are reports of disaffected Muslim communities rejecting support for Israel, emphasizing the need for a cease-fire before engaging in political discussions.
“I represent a community that’s actively hurting,” Rep. Alabas Farhat said.
“When speaking to the community about this, it was a resounding no. Now is not the time for political conversations, now is the time for a cease-fire, and then we can talk.”
