Former Rep. Denver Riggleman, a former Republican, emphasized the importance of Donald Trump’s former allies publicly supporting President Joe Biden.
He highlighted the need for individuals like Anthony Scaramucci and Adam Kinzinger, who have expressed support for Biden.
Riggleman criticized Trump’s behavior, stating that he would vote for Biden due to concerns about Trump’s actions and the people he has associated with.
Yes. I said this.
I am done identifying with a party. I am an American— and right now that means supporting Democratic institutions and our way of life no matter what. https://t.co/D5hUtqZsUi

“This is a person that you don’t want anywhere near … the Oval Office again,” Riggleman said.
“This is an individual that is out of touch with reality, or pretends that he’s out of touch with reality, to actually ignite the base, or to try to make the base violent, or to do things outside of what normal behavior would be.”
“There’s nobody else who I’d vote for but Joe Biden,” he said.
Riggleman, who left the Republican Party in 2022, expressed his support for democratic institutions and American values, indicating a shift away from party identification.
“I am done identifying with a party,” he wrote on X. “I am an American— and right now that means supporting Democratic institutions and our way of life no matter what.”
