Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene filed a resolution to censure Rep. Ilhan Omar for comments on Somalia and the U.S. government.
Omar said her remarks were due to faulty translations and accused Greene of disingenuous attacks.
Greene accused Omar of being a foreign agent for Somalia and posted on social media criticizing her loyalty to America.
“Terrorist sympathizer Ilhan Omar in her own words: Somalian first. Muslim second. She never mentions America,” Greene wrote on X.
“She flaunts using her position as congresswoman to protect Somalia’s border while our border is invaded by MILLIONS of illegals who are a danger to America.”
Greene previously filed a similar resolution against Rep. Rashida Tlaib, which was ultimately rejected by the House.
