Lee Giobbie, a New Jersey man, was arrested by the FBI for his involvement in the January 6 riot at the Capitol.

He faces several federal charges, including civil disorder and obstruction of an official proceeding.

Giobbie was identified by online sleuths through facial recognition and Facebook photos.

The FBI affidavit also cited a mole on Giobbie’s cheek, confirming his identity.

The arrest was made despite his attorney’s claim that Giobbie had not been engaged in subversive activities since the riot.

Giobbie’s connection to the Philadelphia Eagles, as seen through the throwback beanie he wore, was also noted.

The FBI has arrested approximately 1,250 individuals in connection with the Capitol attack, while online “sedition hunters” have identified many more rioters who have not been arrested.
