A former Missouri police officer, Marcellis Blackwell, is accused of sexually assaulting a total of 19 men he had detained or arrested, with allegations including abusive sexual contact and falsifying records.
This comes after he was initially charged with abusing eight men and later indicted on 21 felony counts.
A superseding indictment now accuses him of sexually assaulting even more men, bringing the total felony charges to 36, including deprivation of rights under color of law and altering records in a federal investigation.
Blackwell is also accused of victimizing individuals he thought would be less likely to report his behavior.
