America First Legal (AFL) filed a complaint questioning Hunter Biden’s suitability to be a lawyer, citing his legal issues and alleged professional misconduct.

The D.C. Bar’s search function no longer provides results for “Robert Hunter Biden,” despite previous listings.

The D.C. Bar had previously stated that Hunter was not a member, but later confirmed that he is indeed admitted, clarifying that they made an error in the search.

“There is substantial evidence suggesting that Mr. Biden has engaged in professional misconduct contrary to Rule 8.4. Public faith in the integrity of the Bar demands that the Rules of Professional Conduct be applied consistently and fairly,” AFL’s Senior Counselor Reed D. Rubinstein said.

“When it comes to attorney discipline, there should be one standard, and one standard only, for all bar members.”

“I confirmed,” Disciplinary Counsel Phil Fox said. “He is admitted in D.C.; we just didn’t know his [Hunter Biden’s] first name was Robert when we looked him up.”
