Cher’s request for a temporary emergency conservatorship for her son, Elijah Blue Allman, has been denied by the court.

The judge highlighted that Allman has managed his finances, has an apartment, and has remained drug-free after several drug tests.

Cher’s concerns were based on fears, not definite outcomes, and the court did not see the evidence to grant a temporary conservatorship.

“I don’t question Cher’s concerns being driven by concern for her son. I don’t think [Allman] questions that,” the judge said.

“That in and of itself is not basis for the court to appoint a probate conservatorship. I have not seen the evidence to grant a temporary, emergency conservatorship as of today,” the judge added.

Cher had previously petitioned to become the sole conservator of her son’s estate, citing his mental health and substance abuse issues, while Allman objected, stating that there was no emergency requiring a conservator.

He acknowledged past struggles but expressed being on a path to sobriety and under the care of a doctor.
