Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has denied rumors of joining Donald Trump’s presidential campaign as his vice president, stating that he is unwilling to serve under anyone.
Kennedy, who initially ran for the Democratic party nomination and later switched to the Independent party, expressed his intention to run for president.
Despite reports suggesting a possible alliance between Kennedy and Trump, Kennedy’s refusal indicates otherwise.
“Trump operatives expressed an interest in Kennedy early on, but it was all premature,” an inside source said.
“Anything’s possible. I wouldn’t write it off by any means,” the source added.
“It’s very much behind the scenes at this stage. As we progress, you might see it bubble up a little bit more. Bobby can bring new people to the polls,” they said.
Kennedy’s super PAC launched a fitness challenge aimed at promoting healthier habits for potential voters, amid concerns about the physical and mental fitness of Trump and President Joe Biden in the 2024 election contest.
