Illegal immigrant Jhoan Boada, arrested for assaulting NYPD officers, made offensive gestures upon release.
The attack, near a tourist hotspot, involved several other illegal immigrants, leading to widespread condemnation.
Seven individuals have been charged, with two more arrested later.

Video footage shows the violent scuffle, resulting in minor injuries to the officers.
The NYPD is still searching for additional suspects.
The Chief of Patrol condemned the attack as “reprehensible,” labeling the assailants as “cowards.”
