Dr. Jonathan Reiner challenged Donald Trump’s claims about acing a cognitive test, specifically the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), which Trump has repeatedly described as difficult.
Reiner pointed out that finding the test difficult could indicate early signs of dementia.
The test, designed to detect cognitive impairments, is meant to be easy for those without cognitive issues.

“If you think a dementia screening test is very difficult, you may have early dementia,” Reiner wrote.
“It is supposed to be easy for someone who has no cognitive impairment,” Dr. Ziad Nasreddine said.
Trump’s insistence that the test is difficult seemingly contradicts its actual design.
This is why the former president mentions his dementia testing every day. https://t.co/DPg1KfFimw
