K-9 Mary Lu helped find a missing 11-year-old girl in Florida, locating her in a park bathroom.
The girl was tracked to a neighbor’s house and then to a nearby apartment complex.
Deputies found her in a locked bathroom and she was unharmed.
The sheriff praised the K9 unit for their work.
“Our team HCSO K9 Unit has once again proven its invaluable role in our community,” Sheriff Chad Chronister stated.
“With their exceptional skills, they successfully located and brought home a missing 11-year-old girl, reuniting her safely with her family. I couldn’t be prouder of our team’s commitment to service and determination to protect and serve,” he said.
