Sen. Tim Scott endorsed Donald Trump and displayed sycophancy towards him during a recent event, leading to criticism and embarrassment from critics and commentators.
This comes after Scott’s endorsement of Trump and his campaign alongside him, as well as other Republicans showing support for Trump over Nikki Haley in South Carolina.
“Did you ever think that she actually appointed you, Tim?” Trump said of Haley. “And you’re the senator of her state. And [you] endorsed me.”
“You must really hate her,” he said.
“I just love you,” Scott said.
“That’s why he’s a great politician!” Trump said.
“We need a president who will unite our country. We need Donald Trump,” Scott said previously.
