Actress Alyssa Milano responded to criticism over her GoFundMe fundraiser for her son’s baseball team, stating that she has financially supported the team by paying for uniforms, throwing birthday parties, and sponsoring kids who can’t afford monthly dues.
She emphasized that the kids also engage in fundraising activities themselves.
Milano wrote, “I’m getting media inquiries about whether I have financially contributed to my son’s baseball team.”

“I’ve paid for uniforms for the entire team and coaches, thrown bday parties and sponsor any kid who can’t afford monthly dues,” she continued.
“The kids also do fundraising themselves — car washes, movie nights, and many other fun things!” she exclaimed.
“Thank you to all who have contributed to the gofundme! You’ve made things easier for these boys and their families,” shared the actress.
Despite being worth an estimated $10 million, Alyssa Milano couldn’t find it in the budget to send her son and his 12U baseball team to Cooperstown this year. Luckily, Clay Travis is here to help.

“Celebrities asking people to donate money will never not be funny,” commented one user.
“How out of touch do you have to be @Alyssa_Milano?” they asked.
“This multi-millionaire is literally asking Twitter to help raise $10k for her son’s baseball trip,” wrote another commenter.
OutKick founder Clay Travis wrote, “Why don’t you just pay for all of them yourself instead of asking for people with way less money than you to pay for them?”
This comes in response to backlash on social media, with some questioning the appropriateness of a multi-millionaire celebrity asking for donations.
At the time of publication, the fundraiser has raised over $8,000.
