Legal expert Lisa Rubin suggested that Donald Trump’s New Hampshire victory speech, where he made remarks such as “I don’t get too angry; I get even,” could potentially provide more ammunition for E. Jean Carroll’s lawyers in her legal complaints against the former president.
Carroll, who accused Trump of sexual assault, has won a second defamation trial after Trump continued to refute her claims, even after being found liable for sexual abuse and defamation last spring.
A New York jury ordered Trump to pay a total of $83.3 million to E. Jean Carroll for ruining her credibility.

The jury awarded Carroll $65 million in punitive damages, $11 million for the damage to her reputation and another $7.3 million.
“’I don’t get too angry; I get even,'” Rubin said, quoting Trump.

She then stated that he is “giving E. Jean Carroll’s lawyers more ammunition for cross-examination should he testify in the ongoing trial.”
Trump is expected to appeal the verdict.
