Former President Donald Trump threatened to bar anyone who contributes to Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign from the “MAGA camp,” following his victory in the New Hampshire primaries.
Trump criticized Haley, calling her “average at best” and asserting that her donors would be unwelcome in his camp.
This comes after Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel suggested that Haley should drop out of the race, emphasizing the need to unite around Trump as the eventual nominee.
“Nikki ‘Birdbrain’ Haley is very bad for the Republican Party and, indeed, our Country,” Trump wrote.
“Her False Statements, Derogatory Comments, and Humiliating Public Loss, is demeaning to True American Patriots. Her anger should be aimed at her Third Rate Political Consultants and, more importantly, Crooked Joe Biden and those that are destroying our Country – NOT THE PEOPLE WHO WILL SAVE IT.”
“I knew Nikki well, she was average at best, is not the one to take on World Leaders, and she never did,” he said. “That was up to me, and that is why they respected the United States. When I ran for Office and won, I noticed that the losing Candidate’s ‘Donors’ would immediately come to me, and want to ‘help out.’”
“This is standard in Politics, but no longer with me. Anybody that makes a ‘Contribution’ to Birdbrain, from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp. We don’t want them, and will not accept them, because we Put America First, and ALWAYS WILL!”
“I’m looking at the math and the path going forward,” McDaniel said.
“And I don’t see it for Nikki Haley. I think she’s run a great campaign. But I do think there is a message that’s coming out from the voters, which is very clear, we need to unite around our eventual nominee, which is going to be Donald Trump and we need to make sure we beat Joe Biden.”
