Senator Shelley Moore Capito has not yet endorsed President Donald Trump for reelection, despite his significant victory in the New Hampshire primary.
While many Senate Republican leaders have endorsed Trump, Capito has refrained from doing so, describing his primary win as a “good victory” instead.
This decision comes as West Virginia conservatives aim to close the Republican primary to prevent Democrat influence, with the Capito family reportedly working against this effort.
Capito has historically aligned herself with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and expressed support for his leadership.
