Bridget Ziegler attended a meeting as a Disney World oversight board member, addressing speculation about her resignation following a sex scandal involving her husband, who lost his job as Florida’s GOP chairman.
Her husband was cleared of rape allegations but faced potential charges for illegally recording the encounter.
Ziegler herself faced calls to resign from both the Disney and school boards.
“I’m here,” she said when questioned whether she would resign.
She has been involved in conservative education advocacy and championed the controversial Parental Rights in Education bill.
Despite the controversies, her term on the board runs through February 2025.
