Elon Musk, owner of the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), addressed a recent issue where normal images were incorrectly labeled as “graphic content.”
Musk attributed the problem to a spam/scam bot malfunction.
This incident is part of a series of technical glitches since Musk’s acquisition of the platform.
What I posted and what @X is showing people. So weird… how in the world is this graphic content? @elonmusk? anyone? pic.twitter.com/hpvzMBPwxS

X/Twitter confirmed the bug and assured users that it was resolved.
The platform has faced various technical challenges under Musk’s leadership, including outages and bugs.
Musk’s significant reduction in staff has raised concerns about the platform’s vulnerability to glitches due to the loss of institutional knowledge.
Today, a bug in our system caused X to incorrectly label numerous posts as Sensitive Media. We’ve fixed the underlying issue and are now working to remove labels from impacted posts.
