A CNN exit poll revealed that in the New Hampshire Republican primary, 70 percent of Trump voters were registered Republicans, while only 27 percent were undeclared.

In contrast, for Nikki Haley voters, just 27 percent were registered Republicans, with 70 percent being undeclared.

The poll also showed that many voters cast their ballots for Haley to oppose Trump, with some stating they would vote for Joe Biden in a general election against Haley.

“I think it would be better to have her against Biden in the elections than it to be Trump,” one voter said.

“So when you undeclared, you voted for Nikki Haley. If it was Nikki Haley against Joe Biden in the general election, who are you voting for?” the voter was questioned. “Joe Biden,” he said.

Notably, the poll indicated that 83 percent of Haley voters believe the 2020 election was fair, while only 17 percent of Trump voters shared this belief.

Despite significant campaign efforts and spending by Haley, the race was quickly called for former President Trump after polls closed.
