CNN’s Van Jones expressed concern about the strength of former President Donald Trump and the perceived fragility of President Joe Biden.

Jones argued that Republicans’ unwavering support for Trump, despite his legal issues, reflects their lack of fear of Biden in the general election.

Jones said, “Part of what we’re looking at with Trump’s strength, his resilience, is really a reflection of Biden’s fragility.”

“Republicans are not afraid of Joe Biden. They’re not afraid. They don’t think that by putting up somebody this damaged, frankly this deranged, this many deficits, is going to hurt them at all — because the polls show over and over again that even with 978 felonies, he’s still neck and neck with Biden,” he continued.

“And so, it’s a worrying sign. You’re correct, there are some worrying signs for Trump, but there’s pretty worrying signs for Democrats — that they’re not afraid … they’re not afrai,” explained Jones.

He highlighted Trump’s victories in the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary as evidence of his resilience and suggested that Biden’s weaknesses are becoming apparent.

Jones also criticized Trump’s refusal to debate, stating that it makes him appear weak, especially in a one-on-one situation with former Governor Nikki Haley.

Jones said, “I do think he looks weak. Basically, there’s a woman that says ‘I want to getcha. I want to debate with you.’ And he looks weak running from one person.”

“Say, look, ‘I don’t want to be involved in the big circus with a bunch of nobodies,’ but I don’t know that that doesn’t wind up giving her a little bit more to say,” suggested Jones.
