Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis’ alleged lover, special prosecutor Nathan Wade, spent over $6,000 on luxury travel during late 2022, including flights to Miami, a cruise, and other expenses.
These transactions were revealed in Wade’s divorce file.
The estranged wife of Nathan Wade filed the exhibit, leading to a judge ruling to unseal the divorce case.
“The evidence is clear that Ms. Willis was an intended travel partner for at least some of these trips as indicated by flights he [Nathan] purchased for her to accompany him,” Joycelyn Wade’s attorney Andrea Hastings wrote.
Allegations of a clandestine relationship between Willis and Wade have emerged, prompting legal actions and requests for depositions to uncover the nature of their travels.
These events have unfolded amidst criminal cases, including one against former President Donald Trump, where Nathan Wade was assisting Willis.
“Defendant [Joycelyn] seeks to depose Ms. Willis in order to determine details surrounding her romantic affair with Plaintiff [Nathan], as there appears to be no reasonable explanation for their travels apart from a romantic relationship,” Hastings wrote.
