Supernal, an Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) company backed by Hyundai Motor Group, has developed the S-A2, an electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicle.
The S-A2 stands out due to its performance, offering a range of 25-40 miles, speeds of over 120 mph, and the ability to fly at an altitude of 1,500 feet.
It features eight tilting rotors, providing both vertical and horizontal thrust, increasing flexibility and safety.
The vehicle is powered by all-electric motors, producing zero in-flight emissions and minimal noise.
Safety is a top priority, with the S-A2 meeting global aviation standards and featuring multi-system redundancies.
Notably, it is certified for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), enabling safe operation in various conditions, including at night and in poor visibility.
