A teenage girl, Louise Jean Wilson, was fatally shot in a road-rage incident in Houston.

Her parents, Daniel and Krista Wilson, are urging the perpetrator to come forward and seek redemption.

The suspect, described as a Black man in his 20s driving a black sedan, allegedly fired at Louise’s car after a traffic incident.

“We’re Christian people, and nobody’s too far from redemption,” father Daniel Wilson said. “And whoever did this we know isn’t a Christian at the moment, but they could always be one.… We want something good to come from her death.”

The parents emphasized the severity of firing a gun into a car, leading to Louise’s tragic death.

“If you think that shooting into a car is just going to scare somebody, it’s not,” Daniel said.

“It’s so much more serious than that,” Daniel said. “I don’t know this person’s mindset, but what they did to our daughter – shooting into a car, you have to know you’re going to kill somebody.”

“This was intentional,” mother Krista Wilson said.

They are pleading for witnesses to come forward and for improvements in Houston’s infrastructure.

“Our plea is for anyone in the car to speak up,” Daniel said.

“Whether they were involved or not,” Krista noted.

“I served in the Army with multiple deployments, and this is what you see in third-world countries,” Daniel said.

Louise, a recent high school graduate, was described as a caring individual who aspired to work in law enforcement.

A reward is offered for information leading to the shooter’s arrest, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
