Former President Donald Trump indicated that he is very unlikely to choose Nikki Haley as his running mate for the 2024 Republican nomination.

He mentioned this during a rally in New Hampshire, stating that Haley is “not presidential timber.”

Instead, there are several potential Vice President picks, including Tim Scott, Elise Stefanik, J.D. Vance, Nancy Mace, Kristi Noem, and Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

“She is not presidential timber,” Trump said of Haley. “Now, when I say that, that probably means that she’s not going to be chosen as the vice president.”

Trump’s preference remains uncertain, but loyalty is a key factor in his decision-making process.

“Trump prizes loyalty and fealty above everything else when it comes to his supporters,” Republican strategist Ryan Williams noted.

A number of people have been suggested as potential running mates, including Krisit Noem, Elise Stefanik, Majorie Taylor Greene, Tim Scott, and Ben Carson.
