Joy Behar encouraged former South Carolina GOP Governor Nikki Haley to stay in the 2024 Republican presidential nomination race, believing it would annoy frontrunner Donald Trump and make him appear more demented.
Behar said, “The more she stays in, the more demented he looks. He needs … She needs to stay there so that he can talk about her … just to annoy him.”
Behar also compared Trump and Biden’s cognitive issues, expressing confidence in Biden’s mental acuity.

The discussion on “The View” also touched on Biden’s chances against Trump and Haley.
Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said, “That’s a major gamble. That’s like a scary gamble.”
“He probably has a better chance against Donald Trump than he does against Nikki Haley,” added co-host Sara Haines.
Haley expressed her intention to stay in the race, stating that Americans want a choice.
