Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) urged Texas to defy the Supreme Court’s ruling favoring the Biden administration, which allowed the removal of physical barriers at the border.
He claimed that the administration was “staging a civil war,” suggesting that Texas had the right to ignore the ruling.
This came after a 5-4 Supreme Court ruling in favor of the Biden administration’s request to intervene in a dispute with Texas over border barriers.
