Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina recently announced her support for Donald Trump, adding to the endorsements from other South Carolina Republicans.
Mace’s decision comes ahead of the New Hampshire primary and signals a shift in her stance, particularly as she previously received support from Nikki Haley, who is also from her congressional district.
Meanwhile, Tim Scott and Ron DeSantis have also thrown their support behind Trump, emphasizing the need for his leadership in various policy areas.

“I don’t see eye to eye perfectly with any candidate. And until now I’ve stayed out of it. But the time has come to unite behind our nominee,” Mace said.
“We need a president who will close our southern border today,” Scott said.
We need Donald Trump. We need a president who will unite our country. We need Donald Trump. We need a president who will protect your Social Security and my mama’s Social Security. We need Donald Trump, who will stop the crime and recklessness in the streets. We need a president who will restore law and order. We need a president who will lower taxes and not raise our taxes,” he said.
“It’s clear to me that a majority of Republican primary voters want to give Donald Trump another chance. They watched his presidency get stymied by relentless resistance, and they see Democrats using lawfare this day to attack him,” DeSantis said. “I signed a pledge to support the Republican nominee, and I will honor that pledge.”
Haley remains the last primary opponent to Trump, but recent polls indicate Trump’s strong lead in both New Hampshire and South Carolina.
