A dedicated Trump supporter, Edward X. Young, has attended 68 Trump rallies and expresses excitement about voting for the president, whom he refers to as a “stand-up comedian” and the “first rock-star, super-hero president.”
He emphasized the hope he associates with Trump’s leadership and character, and highlights the entertaining nature of the rallies, likening Trump to a “great entertainer” and “real-life Tony Stark.”
C-SPAN Reporter: We’re here in Manchester, NH. It is currently 17 degrees. President Trump will be here tonight at 7:00 p.m., what time did you get here?

Trump Supporter: I got here about nine this morning, it was 9 degrees then, with a wind chill factor of minus ten.
C-SPAN Reporter: And what are you doing to stay warm?
Trump Supporter: I keep moving, if I keep walking the blood flows and maybe I won’t lose any fingers or toes. I think I’m going to end up like Sir Edmund Hillary and I’ll be missing a few digits by the time I go to all these New Hampshire rallies.
C-SPAN Reporter: How many of these events have you been to?
Trump Supporter: I am Edward X. Young from Point Pleasant, New Jersey, and this will be my 68th Trump rally where I’ve seen the boss himself. I’ve been to many other rallies with his adult children, and other Congressional leaders and such. This is my number 86 Trump rally.
C-SPAN Reporter: And what are you hoping to hear tonight?
Trump Supporter: I’m hoping to hear hope. Hope for the future. And I believe Donald Trump is the only one who has the strength and character to save America and save the world. A lot of the press –not you– but a lot of the press won’t cover what he has to say, so we come here, we bring our phones, and we will cover his speeches and disseminate it to social media so the word gets out, the truth gets out.
