President Donald Trump has easily defeated Nikki Haley in the New Hampshire GOP primary.
Trump was projected to be the winner after just a few minutes when the final polls closed.
“I’m very honored by the result,” Trump said.
Haley said, “I want to congratulate Donald Trump on his victory tonight. He earned it and I want to acknowledge that.”
Nikki Haley says she’s staying in the race. She shouldn’t be considered for ANY job in a new Trump Admin if she stays in. This is feeling like a blackmail operation that goes like this: Name me VP or I keep lighting tens of millions on fire. pic.twitter.com/mnipsXaGJ5

Haley also said her campaign would continue.
“Now you’ve all heard the chatter among the political class. They’re falling all over themselves saying this race is over,” she continued.
“Well, I have news for all of them, New Hampshire is first in the nation. It is not last in the nation. This race is far from over. There are dozens of states left to go. And next one is my sweet state of South Carolina,” she said.
New Hampshire, known for its influential independent voters, was considered fertile ground for Haley, but Trump’s dominance among registered Republicans proved crucial.
South Carolina’s primary is approaching and polls show Trump will continue to dominate.
This victory moves Trump closer to his goal of winning back the White House, as he continues to hold significant influence within the Republican Party despite legal challenges.
Trump made history last year as the first former or current president to be indicted for a crime.
His four criminal indictments, including charges he tried to overturn the 2020 presidential election, have only fueled his support among Republican voters.
