Melania Trump thanked supporters for their condolences and well wishes after the passing of her mother, Amalija Knavs.
She expressed gratitude for the support and shared memories of her mother.
Amalija Knavs, 78, had been living at Mar-a-Lago with her husband and daughter.
“On behalf of my family, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude for the love and support that you have showered upon us throughout this journey of loss and grief,” Melania wrote on X.
“We will cherish the beautiful memories of my beloved mother, and forever keep her light in our hearts.”
Melania highlighted her mother’s dedication and resilience in her eulogy.
Meanwhile, former President Trump was unable to attend the funeral due to a defamation trial.
