Elon Musk has granted MrBeast’s wish to upload content on X, with MrBeast planning to publicly share the revenue generated by the platform.
Despite initially stating he wouldn’t move to X due to funding concerns, MrBeast is now experimenting with the platform by reuploading a YouTube video to test its ad revenue potential.
The video generated over $250,000. The move is significant as MrBeast has a large following and high production costs.

I’m curious how much ad revenue a video on X would make so I’m reuploading this to test it. Will share ad rev next week ❤️ pic.twitter.com/amSSmddFht

“I’m curious how much ad revenue a video on X would make so I’m reuploading this to test it.” Donaldson said. “Will share ad rev next week.”
X noted that creators must “understand this and should have no expectation that any particular revenue percentage or amount will apply, or continue to apply, over time.”
“In December alone, people watched 130 years’ worth of videos 30 minutes or longer.”
MY FIRST X VIDEO MADE OVER $250,000! 😲
But it’s a bit of a facade. Advertisers saw the attention it was getting and bought ads on my video (I think) and thus my revenue per view is prob higher than what you’d experience pic.twitter.com/nViVpZbWBb

X’s revenue model and promises have faced skepticism, with concerns about the platform’s viability and advertiser exodus.
Musk and X CEO Linda Yaccarino may need to address these challenges to sustain the platform.
MrBeast is giving away the $250,000 to ten people within 72 hours under the following conditions:
I’m gonna give 10 random people that repost this and follow me $25,000 for fun (the $250,000 my X video made)
I’ll pick the winners in 72 hours
