Ron DeSantis’ 2024 presidential bid faced challenges as he initially rejected the idea of bowing out in favor of Trump, only to later withdraw and endorse the former president.

A DeSantis advisor said, “Every single thing that could have not gone as we had hoped or planned for went horribly wrong.”
DeSantis suffered significantly from a slow start and glitch-filled launch on Elon Musk’s X platform.

DeSantis said, “I would say if I could have one thing change, I wish Trump hadn’t been indicted on any of this stuff.”
DeSantis’ team also faced internal conflicts, financial setbacks, and criticism from Republican circles.
His focus on conservative priorities and clashes with Trump further complicated his bid, contributing to a significant decline in support and fundraising.
