Thousands rallied in Washington, D.C., for the 51st annual March for Life, advocating against abortion and in support of the unborn.

The event featured various signs with messages criticizing abortion and supporting life, including some directed at President Joe Biden and Planned Parenthood.

The theme emphasized support for pregnancy resource centers and the promotion of quality healthcare for women and their unborn children.

“C’mon Joe, Even You Love Kids,” one read.

“Americans are born to be FREE, if only they were free to be born,” another read.

“As a former fetus, I oppose abortion,” “Four of my siblings were aborted. Choose life,” “UR MOM CHOSE LIFE,” other signs said.

Prominent speakers, including House Speaker Mike Johnson and Pro-Life Caucus Co-Chair Rep. Chris Smith, addressed the crowd.

The march occurred in the wake of the Supreme Court’s 2022 decision in the Dobbs case, which returned the issue of abortion to individual states, leading to new state-level abortion laws.

“This is a critical time to help all moms who are facing unplanned pregnancies to work with foster children and to help families who are adopting, to volunteer and assist our vital pregnancy resource centers in our maternity homes and to reach out a renewed hand of compassion and to speak the truth and love,” Johnson said. “This is also a pivotal time to promote quality health care for both women and their unborn children.”
