A Rasmussen Reports survey found that half of likely voters believe Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis had an inappropriate relationship with prosecutor Nathan Wade, who is leading the case against former President Donald Trump.
Trump and his co-defendant have accused Willis and Wade of having a romantic relationship and various ethics violations, leading to concerns about the case’s integrity.
The survey also revealed divided opinions on Trump’s assessment of the situation. Willis indicted Trump on 13 charges, and if convicted, he could face a maximum of 76.5 years in state prison.

“The district attorney was totally compromised. The case has to be dropped,” Trump stated. “They say she’s in far more criminal liability than any of the people she’s looking at.”
“I think that when you look at what happened where they pay a lawyer with absolutely no experience $700,000 who happens to be her lover, and it turns out that she profited tremendously in that case — it’s illegal,” ” Trump said. “What she did was illegal.”
