A new poll of Canadians shows that the majority fear a return of Donald Trump to the White House.
Nearly two-thirds believe that U.S. democracy may not survive a second Trump presidency, and almost half worry about the U.S. becoming an authoritarian state.
The poll also indicates that most Canadians think the U.S. would be “much worse” under Trump again.

However, 64% of respondents believe that Biden is a more stable POTUS and better for Canada’s economy.
Despite facing criminal cases, Trump remains the clear Republican 2024 front-runner, potentially setting the stage for a rematch with Biden.
