“Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner has dropped her claims against ex-husband Joe Jonas for “wrongful retention” of their two children amid their divorce.
A U.S. judge dismissed the filing after both Turner and Jonas signed a parenting agreement for their daughters, approved by a U.K. judge.
Turner had previously filed a lawsuit demanding the return of their children to England, citing “wrongful retention.”
The former couple reached a custody agreement, allowing their daughters to spend time equally in the U.S. and the UK. Turner and Jonas announced their split in September 2023 after four years of marriage.
“After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” the statement read.
“There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children,” the statement added.
