Former White House attorney Ty Cobb criticized former President Trump for his disruptive behavior during his defamation trial with E. Jean Carroll.
Cobb said, “This is Trump at his worst, and I don’t think we’re going to see anything much different between now and November.”
Trump was reprimanded by a judge for making disruptive comments and disregarding orders during the trial.
The judge threatened to exclude Trump from the trial due to his behavior.
Judge Kaplan said, “Mr. Trump has the right to be present here. That right can be forfeited and it can be forfeited if he is disruptive, which what has been reported to me consists of. And if he disregards court orders, Mr. Trump, I hope I don’t have to consider excluding you from the trial.”
“I understand you’re probably eager for me to do that,” Kaplan added.
“I would love it,” said Trump.
“I know you would. You just can’t control yourself in this circumstance, apparently,” said Kaplan.
“You can’t either,” said Trump.
Despite being found liable for defamation, Trump denies any wrongdoing.
