Elon Musk’s The Boring Company (TBC) has acquired a 1.8-acre parcel of land in Las Vegas as part of its Vegas Loop underground transportation system.

The company plans to connect the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) with the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The Vegas Loop is projected to transport over 90,000 passengers per hour and aims to eventually connect to Los Angeles.

The operational Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) Loop has demonstrated a peak capacity of over 4,500 passengers per hour and over 32,000 passengers per day, cutting a 45-minute journey to roughly two minutes.
