Tekashi 6ix9ine, also known as Daniel Hernández, has been arrested in the Dominican Republic on charges of domestic violence.
He is currently held in jail in Santo Domingo and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
This is not his first encounter with the law, as he was previously accused of assaulting a local music producer in the Dominican Republic and was also involved with a violent gang in the U.S.

Despite these legal issues, he achieved commercial success with the multiplatinum hit song “Fefe” featuring Nicki Minaj in 2018.
